Manage your product information with Airtable

Airtable has a variety of uses

We have used Airtable on a number of projects, where it’s been integrated with Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce to do a number of useful things for our clients.

We’ve used it to manage products — writing scripts to mimic the functionality of a Product Information Management (PIM) system or lightweight Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Airtable as a PIM

My Project Solution implemented a custom PIM using Airtable for BZIPPY. BZIPPY is a commercial ceramics company, creating a variety of furniture and planters for customers. We created a PIM allowing BZIPPY to manage their complete product catalog including product titles, descriptions, SEO data, images, inventory and pricing.

The pricing automations we created supported tiered pricing based on the products class and customer ordering the items. We also managed multiple warehouses and custom inventory allocations in Airtable.

Airtable Integrations

Integrating Airtable is easy. Their robust API allows My Project Solution to efficiently track changes and send Airtable data to a variety of applications. We can also update data in Airtable using their API.

Other applications we have managed with Airtable include:

  • Competitive Pricing App with content scraping and ecommerce integrations
  • ERP integrations for seeding product information
  • Membership Database and Engagement tracker (lightweight CRM)
